Question 2
The Correct Answer Is: FALSE
James 1:13-15: "13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death."
Mankind from the very beginning has tried to blame others for their own sin. In the garden, Eve tried to blame the serpent (Satan) for eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and Adam tried to blame God for giving him Eve, for she was the one who gave him the fruit to eat. The fact of the matter is, when we sin, it's our own fault. We allowed ourselves to be drawn away by temptation, and instead of using God's way of escape (I Corinthians 10:12-13), we gave into the temptation and sinned. Does God allow us to be tempted? Yes he does, for God didn't create robots who mindlessly worship Him. He created freewill beings who would either choose to obey or rebel. But God is not the reason we sin: we are.
