Question 1
The Correct Answer Is: FALSE
Romans 5:12-14: "12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned — 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come."
God is not the reason that sin entered the world. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. At that point, Adam and Eve were separated from God because of sin, and as a consequence, were cast out of the Garden of Eden, thus losing access to the tree of life (Genesis 3). This loss of access for all mankind is the reason that men and women die. We all suffer the same separation from God due to sin though, when we commit sin ourselves. In order to be responsible for sin, we must not only know what sin is, but we must have the ability to understand the difference between right and wrong. Although there is no set age for this transition, it can usually be said to occur sometime during the teenage years. Up until this point, God does not hold us responsible when we do something that would be considered sin if it were done by a fully accountable adult (i.e. lying, unjustified anger, etc.). That means that children stand innocent before God until such time that they obtain this knowledge. But once we obtain this knowledge, the Bible teaches that everybody (with the exception of Jesus) has sinned (Romans 3:23). It's not because we have to sin, or because it's God's fault, but because humans generally copy the behavior of others, and so since sin is in this world, people copy the sins of others.
